Church Planting in Central Brazil

Dave and Miriam Kanagy have given four years to helping plant a church on the outskirts of a growing city of central Brazil, Catalão. They have worked under the leadership of the Brazilian pastor, and have one year left in this initiative.

Equipping & Deployment Center for MAEB

MAEB is an acronym for Missão Aliança Evangélica do Brasil which stands for The Evangelical Alliance Mission of Brazil. MAEB was begun in May 2004 by two missionaries with TEAM, Dr. Bill Bacheller and Dr. Timothy Evans together with a number of Brazilian pastors and businessmen. The Brazilian mission has two active ministries: Deployment and Oasis Counseling Ministries.

A third part of the Vision God gave us for MAEB has been to not only deploy Brazilian missionaries, but to mobilize the Brazilian Church for missions, and to equip those who have a call to cross-cultural missions

Oasis Counseling Center

Oasis’s vision statement is “To counsel missionaries, pastors, and their families so that they remain in their ministries longer and healthier”. Currently, in its 7 year existence we have counseled 352 missionaries and pastors from 26 Brazilian sending agencies, and 11 denominations. We are the only evangelical counseling center in the nation that has as its goal to serve pastors and missionaries exclusively.
